Main ingredient of Bilvadi churna is bel (Aegle Marmelos) fruit and seed. It's fruit pulp and seeds contain a bioactive substance known as a lectin, which is effective against shigella bacteria. As a result, it helps to treat Shigella Dysenteriae Infection.
